YK Hong has been giving trainings and talks around the country and world on code, data, tech, cybersecurity, anti-oppression, community organizing and organization development. YK has been professionally facilitating and training organizations, groups and individuals in anti-oppression work, organization development, grassroots fundraising and strategic planning since 1998.
YK is also a community organizer and visual artist, and has a TED Talk entitled “How Having Nothing is Having Everything” talking about a project called 365 Release, of giving away one thing a day every day for a year to practice letting go and change. The talk can be found on the TED.com website.
