Trisha Walsh is currently VP, Engineering – IT at Yelp Inc. managing Security Engineering and Technology; this organization includes all of the internal end user support, technology sourcing, people systems and security engineering. Trisha’s role includes thought leadership and road maps for these teams in support of Yelp’s employees and lines of business, globally. Ensuring continuous improvement by monitoring and measuring internal applications that technology teams utilize to improve service quality and evaluating metrics for service level objectives across operations. Trisha is also a people leader with distributed teams in Canada, England, Germany and the U.S. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights in Oakland, CA.

Trisha had previously been employed at Gap Inc., where she managed Global Services Strategy for IT Operations. Ms. Walsh holds a BA degree in Sociology/Social Work from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams and an MsBA in Computer Information Systems and Quantitative Business Methods from California State University, East Bay. Trisha lives in Berkeley, CA with her wife.
