Trish Redmond leads Global Information Security University Program responsible for promoting learning opportunities and professional growth aligned to the grow and retain strategy to employ the best cyber security staff.
Since joining Global Information Security team in 2005, has held multiple leadership positions in cyber security operations teams focused on driving security awareness to internal/external partners. Core business functions related to application security assessment planning and engagement, supplier assessment engagement and planning, application log monitoring, merchant PCI, and delivery of cyber security exercise planning aligning emerging threats to readiness reviews /tabletop exercises.
Trish began her career with Bank of America in March 1993 as an analyst in Texas and has held a range of positions across the enterprise including: Corporate Finance, and Treasury Management Services.
She is a graduate of University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a master’s degree in Information Security Systems. 13 years of information security technology experience and awarded two patents in the area of information security.
Trish is a member of several council and networks: GIS Diversity & Inclusion council, Black Leadership Advisory Council (BLAC), Black Professional Group (BPG), Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Development for women (LEAD) and LGBT Ally Program. In addition, partnering as a campus lead for HBCU universities and currently involved in Dallas community working with organizations like March of Dimes and Genesis Women Shelter – Outreach.
