Tommyette Kirkpatrick works in Wells Fargo’s Consumer Lending Technology Credit Card Fraud group. In this role, her immediate responsibilities include modernizing tools that support credit card fraud servicing and providing technical oversight over the credit card fraud strategy.

From 2011 to March 2022 at Wells Fargo, Tommyette led the Commercial Digital fraud technology team. In this role, she was responsible for the growth and expansion of wholesale fraud monitoring from its inception to what is now a complex platform with multiple layers of protection for critical wholesale authentication and payment applications.

From 2008 to 2011 at Wells Fargo, Tommyette was a member of the Commercial Authentication merger team that consolidated and migrated wholesale channel authentication services between Wachovia and Wells Fargo to the strategic authentication platform.

Prior to 2008, Tommyette managed the Wachovia Commercial Single Sign-on and high-level user entitlement platforms. She started on this team as a developer and was part of the launch of Wachovia’s first Online Commercial single sign-on platform that grew to provide authentication channel services to more than 60 applications and services.

Before that, Tommyette served in developer roles at First Union for the Treasury Management intranet, retail card services and the call center. She began her career at IBM as a developer in check processing. Tommyette has 25 years of experience in Fintech. She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science/mathematics from Clemson University
