Tiffany Shumate is the Director of University Partnerships at AI4ALL. She defines herself as an educator and is interested in leveraging both business and technology to drive education towards fair and equal access for all students. Tiffany has worked in the public and charter school sectors, as a researcher, college access specialist, and currently, in workforce development in technology. Her work is rooted in challenging the status quo — it’s Tiffany’s mission to use business and technology to design an education system that is equitable and a key partner in the thriving of young people and their families. Before joining AI4ALL, Tiffany served as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Multicultural Recruitment Coordinator at Bryn Mawr College, where she established partnerships with high schools and organizations that led to increased enrollment and retention of underrepresented students. She also worked as the founding Regional Director at Black Girls CODE, where she led program and partnership development in seven regions, including Johannesburg, South Africa. Most recently, Tiffany expanded AI4ALL’s university partnerships from six to 10 universities across North America and designs strategy to support the programs’ alumni.
