Tessa Brown, PhD, is the CEO and Co-Founder of Germ Network, the underground social network that lets you decide who can find you–starting with an end-to-end encrypted messenger where you’re in control. Before founding Germ, Tessa was a Lecturer at Stanford where she taught writing and communication with a focus on social media, hiphop music and language, and social justice. From classrooms to platforms, her mission is to empower people to communicate on their own terms. She lives in San Francisco.
