Terry Albarella is a Vice President in Global Business & Technology Solutions (GBTS) within the Enterprise Architecture organization. Her responsibilities include management of the Enterprise Architecture Review Board, bringing together IT architects across businesses as well as other IT governance functions. She is also responsible for Voice Enabled Technologies which includes Prudential’s work on the Amazon Alexa and other voice assistant platforms.
Albarella joined Prudential in 1995 and has held a variety of leadership positions within the Corporate Information Technology organization. Prior to her current role, she completed an assignment with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) and was responsible for the integration of new technology and process as well as collaboration with ODI’s Consulting Directors. Prior to Prudential, she led a team responsible for networks, distributed back office and store systems at Mayfair SuperMarkets.
As President of PRIDE, Prudential’s LGBTQ Business Resource Group, she created the Prudential Ally program and leads Prudential’s external PRIDE presence. Her focus within PRIDE has been to partner with businesses in support of market development and business growth, raise awareness internally and represent Prudential externally. She received the Trailblazer Award from Re:Gender for work in advancing gender equity.
Terry has a BSE in Secondary Education/Mathematics & Computer Science from Seton Hall University and an MBA in Management Information Systems from St. Peter’s University. She is also a MCSE and certified in ITIL.
Albarella resides in New Jersey with her wife Melissa, daughter Katie, and son Danny. She is an avid gamer (Xbox GT: Wintr17), sports fan and retired hockey mom.
