Tara Pratap Ebsworth is a mechanical engineer, an artist, and a STEAM educator. Tara currently works at Holo, a startup in additive manufacturing in Oakland, CA. Previously, Tara designed medical devices at Ximedica in Providence, RI.
Outside of work, Tara designs and fabricates outdoor art installations. Tara has received multiple grants from the Council for the Arts at MIT and the Firefly Arts Collective in order to realize these pieces.
Tara is passionate about inspiring the next generation of diverse engineers and actively plans and runs STEAM outreach events with local schools and groups. In 2017, Tara was recognized by Governor Raimundo of Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Tech Collective as a leader in the state in youth engineering outreach.
