Shawna Morrell has served as a senior leader of Project Management in the Mortgage Technology division at Bank of America since 2014, with responsibility for annual initiative/solution planning, project intake and governance. In this position, she coordinates the ideation, prioritization and funding for solutions in both Technology and the Consumer Lending and Consumer Operations lines of business. In addition, she manages the intake and governance process for technology and process projects within the portfolio.
During her 30 years at Bank of America, Shawna has served in a variety of portfolio management roles within operations and technology organizations. She has experience implementing technology and process solutions for various servicing lines of business both regionally and enterprise wide, including more than five major platform replacements.
Prior to joining Mortgage Technology, Shawna was the liaison responsible for ensuring operational change readiness by partnering with Marketing, Channels Management, Servicing organizations and Technology.
Shawna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University. She supports PAWS People Helping Animals and Vashon Island Pet Protectors organizations. Currently residing in Las Vegas, Shawna is proud to be an openly “out at work” employee at Bank of America.
