Native New Yorker, Sam Mossallam is a full-stack web developer at SoulCycle and has a heavy hand in diversity and inclusion work. Sam received a Master’s Degree in Software Engineer and Development at Pace University and later joined SoulCycle’s engineering team last October. He believes because of his unique experiences, he’s accumulated a special set of problem solving skills. He leads SoulCycle’s Queer ERG, advocating for the most queer diverse spaces within the organization. Sam shared his journey as a trans person to the entire organization, in hopes to better educate his allies. Sam has built his own brand, Identity Forward, who’s goal is to make spaces more inclusive for trans folk through education. In his spare time, Sam is writing a collection of short stories on his life as a transman and hopes to publish his first book by 2020.
