Rory Shores is an Assistant Vice President at Bank of America and has been with the bank since 2014. She has been in various roles throughout her career within Information Security including Information Access Management, Access Control Testing, Remediation and a Team leader at Bank of America. Prior to working as an employee, she was a contractor for the Bank since 2007. Rory is a member of the Bank’s LGBT Employee network in Chicago, and a Champion and group lead for the Military Support and Assistance Group for Chicago chapter. She is also a member of the Global Information Security Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Rory has served as a weekly volunteer since 2013, for the Center on Halsted a non-profit Community Center for LGBTQ, which provides many resources such as behavioral health, health care, housing, HIV/AIDs testing and support, legal services, Support Groups for abuse, and many other services. In the past she served as a weekly volunteer/substitute teacher for St Benedict, elementary school in Blue Island, Illinois.
In her down time, Rory takes long walks, as an artist sketches, and paints, while listening to all kinds of music. She enjoys spending time with her son and loves to read, and sometimes writes stories, or poems.
