A former advertising creative, Renock quit her job at 25 to launch Wethos in pursuit of a mission to connect people with more meaningful work while tackling the nonprofit resourcing disparity. Since the launch in 2016, Renock has raised $1M in VC funding, landed on the cover of the New York Times by helping to oust some of the most powerful men in tech for their poor behavior, and was featured on NBC to frankly discuss sexism and sexual harassment to a nation-wide audience. As a member of the LGBTQ community in a politically charged world, Renock believes that now more than ever people must speak up for what is right and has made it her mission to empower organizations committed to positive social impact.
