Nicole Thomas (@) is a founding member of Hack Cleveland – a team of technologists, activists, business professionals and community development leaders who are using tech to accelerate solutions to social injustices. At Fix 216 civic hackathon, HackCLE convened local activists, coders, artists and community leaders to create solutions to systemic challenges in the city of Cleveland, OH.
In addition, Nicole works to build support for the full equality of LGBTQ Ohioans as the Northeast Coordinator for Equality Ohio. She recognizes the importance of racial and economic justice as part of this process and dedicates her time to the development of grassroots leaders from LGBTQ and ally communities.
Nicole was born and raised in Virginia, but has called Ohio home since 2007 and has been a proud Cleveland east-sider since 2010.
