Nellwyn Thomas is the Chief Technology Officer at the Democratic National Committee, leading a team of 65 technologists to build the data infrastructure and tooling used by Democratic campaigns across the country and up and down the ballot. Nell has worked both in political campaigns and the tech industry, including leading data science and analytics teams at Facebook and Etsy. She served as the deputy Chief Analytics Officer for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard and master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Brooklyn with her family, and spends her free time making misshapen pottery and eating french fries.
