Nandita Sampath is a Policy Analyst in Consumer Reports’ San Francisco office. Her area of focus is on algorithmic bias and accountability issues, helping CR shape its platform in this emerging area of policy. Prior to joining CR, she was an engineer in Silicon Valley and has previously worked at tech policy groups such as the Center for Democracy & Technology, ID2020, and UC Berkeley’s CITRIS Policy Lab. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Master of Public Policy from UC Berkeley.
