Mo Akade leads new and existing growth projects at Telegraph Academy, a software engineering bootcamp focusing on people of color underrepresented in tech. Built in partnership with Hack Reactor and backed by the White House as part of its Tech Hire initiative, Telegraph Academy trains tenacious people with the skills they need to excel as software engineers in Silicon Valley and beyond. Prior to Telegraph Academy, Mo co-founded GigaBryte, a platform that introduced kids to programming though wearable electronics. An Imagine K12, Stanford StartX, and Echoing Green alumna, Mo is committed to closing the racial and ethnic divide in the field of computing. She graduated from Yale and Stanford.
