Mindy Ferguson leads Capital One’s Commercial Digital Channels, creating digital experiences within the Capital One Commercial Bank. Her vision is to provide a cohesive, integrated commercial banking experience that allows clients the ability to handle all of their banking seamlessly through a modern interface that leverages technology. Her passion is around the experience and the development of an architecture that allows banking to adjust to the needs of its customers, always staying in the forefront with technology.
Mindy has more than 20 years of engineering experience with several global companies in diverse industries, including radio and television, digital marketing and comparison shopping. She spent more than 9 years of her career in the financial services industry, most recently as the Vice President of Mobile and Emerging Technologies for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance. Prior to that she was Vice President of Global Software Product Development and Planning at Experian in Costa Mesa, California, where she was awarded the Experian Elite Award for her work in the consumer mobile space. Mindy was recognized for creating Experian’s first consumer-facing mobile app, which led to unanticipated sales in the consumer shopping vertical and was one of the first 500 apps in the App Store.
Mindy attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, majoring in broadcast journalism. She enjoys community service, and has volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County, California, the Los Angeles Mission and at God’s Love We Deliver in Manhattan which both help to provide needs for the homeless. She resides in Manhattan, New York, with her wife, two chihuahuas and a cat.
