Mary is a catalyzing leader whose behavior change strategies and interventions help product teams create more inclusive and delightful digital and physical interactions. She brings more than two decades of experience leading with love and shaping global brand experiences for some of the world’s most innovative organizations. Her heart-focused problem-solving approach creates thriving environments where both products and people flourish.

As a product adoption expert on McKinsey & Company’s Technology & Digital team, Mary has a fervor for how design translates human values into tangible experiences. With creative storytelling and human-centered applications, she delivers world-class integrated behavior change campaigns that inform, engage, and inspire. Mary guides teams using design thinking practices as a core approach to solving change problems of all complexities.

She has a passion for lifelong learning and a deep desire to connect interdisciplinary capabilities, processes, and products with love, empathy and human connection. Mary advocates for equality and transparency as an active member of GLAM at McKinsey, the firm’s vibrant global network of LGBTQ+ colleagues, leading firm-wide activities such as Day of Pink. She whole-heartedly leans into finding potential in all people so they feel lifted, valued and engaged with meaningful purpose.

Mary earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Retail Advertising from Columbus College of Art & Design. She is a proud mother, avid doodler, and art lover. She happily resides with her partner Katherine in Atlanta and Boston.
