Martha Welsh (she/her) joined Pinterest in January 2023 and oversees Strategy and Partnerships for the company. She joined Pinterest from Google, where she most recently led strategy, operations and go-to-market for Google Commerce, which includes shopping, travel and payments. During her more than 11 years at Google, she held many positions, including leading product teams for Google Maps and serving in the Office of the CEO leading x-Google strategic initiatives. Prior to Google, Martha worked at Goldman Sachs in New York in Investment Banking.
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she is a graduate of Princeton University, where she studied Public Policy and International Affairs, and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Until May 2021, Martha served on the Board of Directors of GoJek, an Indonesian-based ridesharing and food delivery company (now GoTo) and is passionate about building for users and ecosystems everywhere.
