Founder & Managing director at Future Literacy. A public affairs, strategy and communications consultancy focused on deploying quantum, space, and cognitive technologies sustainably. Working extensively with EU governments on their AI and quantum strategies, and with start-ups and the industry in their growth strategy.
Over the years, María has created numerous tech coalitions and advocacy campaigns for institutions like the United Nations, OECD, and the European Commission. She’s also an active communicator and thinker for science & technology, published in The Quantum Insider, TELOS Telefónica or El Economista, and has presented analysis of the policy implications of quantum policy, specifically of the quantum internet, at academic institutions such as Yale University.
She holds studies in Political Science (2015), studied design thinking (2016), AI (2018), quantum information sciences (2020), complexity studies (2022) and PCI with Antonio del Olmo (2024). She’s a member of the Information Professionals Association (IPA), Women in AI, the Institute for Robotic Process Automation, and the Strategy Working Group at the Interplanetary Connectivity Chapter of the Internet Society.
