Liz is Managing Director, Ecosystem Partners & Platforms at Accenture where she leads strategy and execution for a broad range of ecosystem partners such as Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, SAP, Oracle, and Amazon Web Services in Canada. A champion of diversity, Liz also leads Accenture’s Women’s Employee Resource Group in the Greater Toronto Area. Liz has two decades of experience in high technology, software and telecommunications. She uses her experience to serve clients and mentor Accenture employees as part of Accenture’s Global LGBT Mentoring Program.
Most recently Liz worked as a Director of Alliances at TELUS where she managed some of the most high-value, strategic business partnerships such as Accenture, Avanade, Microsoft, IBM, HP, and Dell EMC. Prior to her role at TELUS, Liz worked at Hewlett-Packard in various sales, marketing, and global alliance management roles. She also has extensive sales and business development experience from working at PeopleSoft, Bell Mobility, and Intrawest.
Liz is passionate about diversity and inclusion and is an active speaker and volunteer in the LGBTQ & Women’s Communities in Toronto. She was a founding member of the TELUS LGBTQ Employee Resource group called ‘Spectrum’ and was a member of the national leadership committee. While at Telus, Liz co-chaired the TELUS Women’s Employee Resource Group for the GTA Chapter from 2014-2015. She was an active advisor for the not-for-profit organization, ‘Out on Bay Street’, for three years as an advisor. and was a member of the selection committee for the organization’s “Leader’s To Be Proud Of Awards” for the past three years. Liz used her experience developing corporate partnerships to act as the Director of Development and Partnerships at OutSport Toronto, a non-for-profit organization promoting LGBTQ sports leagues in the Greater Toronto Area from 2013-2015.
Liz earned her Combined Honours Degree in Political Science and English at the University of Western Ontario where she also played Varsity Soccer. To complement her breadth of professional experience, Liz actively seeks to boost her professional development. She has completed executive management courses at The Richard Ivey School of Business, The Rotman School of Management, and The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Liz lives in Riverdale in Toronto and has a 13 year old daughter, Grace. When she is not developing partner alliances, championing diversity and improving her professional skills, you can find her playing soccer, golfing, skiing, cycling, travelling, and trying to keep up with Grace who is an accomplished middle distance runner.
