Liora is Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer at Ha’aretz – TheMarker, Israel’s leading daily newspaper, where she manages a team of marketing professionals who plan and execute data-driven marketing strategies to maximize the impact and reach of the company’s three main platforms – Haaretz Hebrew, TheMarker and Haaretz English. As part of her role Liora works on the development and testing of new products to enhance the portfolio of channels – both physical and digital – that serve Haaretz and TheMarker in reaching a broader audience and enhancing the journalistic report.
Prior to joining Ha’aretz, Liora was the Product Marketing Manager at Ravello Systems, a SaaS cloud infrastructure Israel-based start-up. She was the second employee at Ravello’s Silicon Valley branch and was responsible for end-to-end inbound marketing, business reporting frameworks, pricing schemes and business forecasting. After Oracle’s acquisition of Ravello, and moving back to Israel, Liora became Principal Product Manager at Oracle’s cloud service group.
Liora holds a BA in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where she was an active member of OutClass, the LGBTQ student club and the keyboardist for MBA JAM. She lives with her wife in Tel-Aviv.
