Dr. Lauren Cortez-Taylor is a professional in the field of quantitative methods and data science. She earned her doctoral degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara in research methodology. Dr. Cortez-Taylor has worked with a variety of datasets in many professional fields, including California’s public education focusing on high school dropouts, military physical and mental health data understanding the effectiveness of Army Resiliency program, and Tesla vehicle data analyzing the insights of vehicle performance for Tesla Service Centers, worldwide. Her favorite statistical tools include R, SQL, Tableau, and Python. Lauren is currently tackling the data challenge of understanding and improving customer experience for Tesla. Lauren residence in the Bay Area with her wife Ash and cat Jerri. She recently joined the San Francisco Cheer for Life organization, as a volunteer production member.
