Lauren Schwendimann is the UX & Brand Design Lead at Waymo, an autonomous driving technology company with a mission to make it safe and easy for people and things to get where they’re going.

In he role, Lauren leads UX design for Waymo One, the world’s first fully autonomous service, where she’s responsible for shaping the end-to-end rider journey and designing experiences across touchpoints, including the rider app, car exterior displays, and the in-car experience (interactive displays and audio). She also leads Brand Design for the entire company.

Prior to Waymo, Lauren was a Design Director at Motorola, leading UX design for hardware and software interactions in the mobile space, and she has over 15 years of experience designing products that use new technology to help people achieve goals in their everyday lives.

Lauren holds a Masters of Design from the Institute of Design—IIT, and a BA in Communications from Northwestern University.
