LaFawn Davis Bailey is the Global Head of Culture & Inclusion at PayPal, focused on elevating a culture of collaboration, innovation, wellness, and inclusion through creative methods of education, inspiration and employee engagement. She is a strategic leader on cultural change to bring PayPal into its next chapter as an independent publicly traded company, including leading core work around PayPal’s inclusion and diversity narrative, programs and policies for 18,000+ employees in over 50 offices worldwide. Prior to joining PayPal, she grew a robust career in People Operations spanning 10 years at Google and Yahoo — focused on recruiting programs, diversity & inclusion, performance management, career management, employee engagement and business partner roles. Throughout her career, LaFawn has cultivated her passion for diversity and inclusion through strategy and data insights, deepening relationships and strengthening communication channels within underrepresented communities in the technology industry.
Prior to HR, LaFawn enjoyed a varied career across operational management, engineering project management and business systems analysis. As a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, she attended San Jose State University with a focus on International Business and has held unique roles for Silicon Valley technology and financial companies such as Analog Devices, Quinstreet, Inc. and Providian Financial.
