Kiva Wilson, Ed.M., as Diversity Programs Manager for Facebook, helps develop the company’s diversity recruitment strategy and manages partnerships aimed at growing the representation of historically underrepresented communities in tech. She’s proud to be part of Facebook’s Global Diversity team, which focuses on how to best find, grow and keep exceptional talent. Prior to assuming this role, Kiva managed the U.S. Peace Corps’ Office of Diversity and National Outreach. In this capacity she worked with the United Negro College Fund Special Programs Corporation, Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and other national organizations to cultivate an interest in international service. Her work was heavily informed by her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador from 2004 – 2006, Youth Development Technical Trainer in 2007, and Community Trainer and Educator for a national non-profit from 2008 – 2010. She has nine years of facilitation and strategic outreach design and has used those skills to lead workshops in the United States, South Africa and Togo. She holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Harvard University.
