Julie Harris joined JPMorgan Chase as the Head of Operations and Administration for Asset & Wealth Management in November, 2017. She has over 30 years’ experience in a variety of industries, and a deep passion for leveraging technology to enable business strategies.
Julie previously was a Partner at Goldman Sachs, with responsibility for Operations Technology Strategy as well as establishing global Operations Centers of Excellence. She was an advocate for diversity and inclusion at Goldman Sachs, notably serving as Co-Head of the firm’s LGBT Network during its formative years. She is on the board of the New York City Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, currently serving as the Board President. For the past 6 years, she has ridden her bike from Boston to NYC in a quest to end HIV/AIDS.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Harris spent 12 years at Diamond Management and Technology Consulting as a Senior Partner. She began her tenure with Diamond when it was a start-up, and played a critical role in helping to build the firm from the ground up. Earlier in her career, Julie spent nearly a decade with Arthur Andersen/Accenture, focusing on management information consulting and supply chain management.
Julie has a BS, Computer Science from Western Michigan University and an MBA, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Management from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, and is a graduate of The Players Workshop of Second City, an improvisational comedy school.
She resides in Montclair, NJ, with her twin sons, Nathaniel and Thaddeus and their three-legged cat, Bip.
