Jasmine has worked in government and industry as an information technology project manager, technical monitor for technology contracts, and subject matter expert for technology security policy development. She excels at thinking outside the box to solve crucial technical problems using a risk-based strategy. She is a proponent and practitioner of agile principles, and she feels that adopting an agile mentality is critical in order to remain competitive and innovative at mission-speed in the current digital revolution. She is driven by a desire to help the public, and she has supported government initiatives to offer mission-critical and mission-enabling capabilities for the nation’s information technology and information security infrastructure. She works with stakeholders at all levels and technical groups to create safe, cutting-edge solutions that will reinforce, protect, and change critical infrastructure. Frequently, Jasmine is entrusted with developing strategic and tactical plans, analyzing, and compiling non-technical and technical requirements, conducting risk assessments, and drafting detailed artifacts for multimillion-dollar projects. Jasmine is a graduate student at Colorado State University’s Global Campus pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology Management with an emphasis in Cybersecurity. Her competency has given her an advantage in her profession, which is critical for her position advising the executives who will eventually decide on the future technological plan.
