Gretchen Saegh-Fleming is a results-driven, digital first Business Leader with relentless focus on the consumer. A celebrated Marketing Leader and eCommerce Acceleration Expert, Gretchen has been named an Adweek Top 50 Indispensable Media, Marketing and Tech Player, an Ad Age Women to Watch, and one of Fast Company’s Queer 50 Business and Tech Innovators. As an out LGBTQ+ Executive, she is also a passionate champion for equality, working actively to build diverse and inclusive communities and corporate cultures.  She is a member of the Harvard Women’s Leadership Board, The Female Quotient, CHIEF and Lesbians Who Tech.

Gretchen recently served as the Chief Commercial Officer of connected fitness disruptor Hydrow, where she oversaw all commercial aspects of the business and was responsible for developing a comprehensive multi-channel business strategy. Her role included leading Hydrow’s sales and marketing efforts to maximize brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability. Under her leadership, Hydrow experienced hypergrowth of 3x from 2020 to 2021 (following +500% in 2020), improved profitability, and more than quadrupled brand familiarity, fueled by the breakthrough relaunch of the brand under the “Hydrow High” Campaign. The creative featuring Kevin Hart was voted as one of the Top 10 Ad Age Celebrity Ads of 2021. Hydrow also launched their radical product innovation: the Hydrow Wave rowing machine, which is 30% smaller and $1,000 less than the original, supporting an even broader range of consumer lifestyles.

Previously, Gretchen was the Chief Marketing Officer at L’Oréal USA, where she was responsible for developing new marketing models, driving digital innovations and strategic partnerships for the company’s portfolio of more than 30 iconic brands, including L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline and Garnier. With a proven track record in advancing business growth, she was also previously responsible for the eCommerce business for luxury brands such as Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, Giorgio Armani Beauty & Fragrance, Lancôme, Kiehls, and Urban Decay as Senior Vice President of Digital and Marketing for L’Oréal USA’sLuxe division.

Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Art History from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Business Administration from Boston College, where she graduated Beta Gamma Sigma. She lives in New Jersey with her wife, two children, and two (often muddy) golden doodles.
