Erez Benari is an Information Security Engineer, specializing in Cryptography and Encryption with the Microsoft IT PKI team in Redmond, Washington. Having joined Microsoft in the year 2000, Benari has worked on various security products such as Threat Management Gateway (TMG), Unified Application Gateway (UAG), Internet Information Server (IIS) and Azure Websites and filling multiple roles as Lab Manager, Operations Engineer, Support Escalation Engineer, Software Developer, Software Tester, and Feature Program Manager. Benari has presented at numerous events and conventions over the years, including FTPI, TechReady, and TechEd. Benari has also published hundreds of articles in the media, as well as 4 books and a video course. He lives with his family in Sammamish, Washington, and enjoys creating Miniatures, Steampunk and Geek art, and performing Stand-Up comedy on his free time.
