Emily is a seasoned Product Management Leader with over a decade hands-on experience across consumer mobile, web, and SaaS, and most recently has focused exclusively on developing digital queer communities. As the current Head of Product at Sniffies, they lead strategic initiatives that aim to transform the landscape for queer sex positive spaces and connections. Previously, Emily spearheaded engagement and growth initiatives at Grindr, directly contributing to the platform’s reach of over 13 million monthly active users.
Their background spans from early-stage startups to growth-focused organizations, where they have been consistently recognized for driving innovation for digitally underrepresented communities in the education technology and social networking sectors. Emily’s work has received accolades from prestigious organizations such as SIIA, Harvard University, and the University of Pennsylvania, among others.
Additionally, Emily operates BGFG Strategies, a private consulting firm that partners with organizations and leaders to elevate their product processes and design products that matter.
