Emily Marvin loves problems. Whether she’s revamping an existing process or building something from scratch, she prides herself on her ability to weave team ideas into functional and holistic strategies. In 2017 they found a home at Avalara where they work to drive compliance automation and efficiencies for businesses globally. In 2020 she was awarded the Avalara Spirit Award for bringing passion, optimism, and fun to her work with Avalara’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group Prism. As a Prism board co-chair for 2021-22, they are working to build a vibrant #AvaCulture and spurring colleagues to do better by themselves, their peers, and their customers.
