As Senior Localization Specialist, Denise Kreeger manages the creation of localized assets for Netflix content in over 20 languages. As a part of the Content Localization team, she assures that content creators’ creative intent is upheld through the localization process and that Netflix’s global customers have the best possible experience.
Denise has been integral in innovating and optimizing workflows in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Netflix’s localization efforts. Denise worked on Chelsea, Netflix’s first talk show. She designed and managed a process that allows Netflix to air episodes globally 30 hours after taping with subtitle coverage in 20 languages.
Denise has a Masters of Arts in Audiovisual Translation from the University of Roehampton, London and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of California, Los Angeles. She worked in subtitling for theatrical releases prior to starting at Netflix.
