Deanna Locke, CISSP, CISA, CIPP, ITILv3 is a high-tech Governance, Risk & Compliance Advisor who works with senior executive leadership to provide effective information security & privacy strategies, solutions, and services to their respective organizations. Her presentations at security and privacy conferences include such topics as “Compliance: Beyond Checkboxes”, “Hackable You: The Internet of Things” and “Business Risk that Makes $$ense”.
In addition, Deanna has 25+ years of Organizational & Leadership Development, Intercultural Communications, teaching, and training experiences and background. She breaks down complex dynamics such as the Adversity of Diversity Theory she’s developed. The ability to visualize, integrate, and implement are key elements of situational awareness Deanna believes are foundations of empowerment and self-change. Transformation from adversity to honoring and integrating diversity builds upon and extends beyond the phrase “We stand upon the shoulders of Giants” … ground to dust so that we might have a firm foundation from which to speak out from.
Because in the end, “We are all children running around in wrinkled adult’s clothing”. Deanna’s work is about integrating learning, integrity, and balance to create the remediation paths and options to daily and life-long challenges of living a mindful life with joy and purpose. Namaste.
