Language Data Manager

Courtney Napoles is Grammarly’s Language Data Manager. She holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Johns Hopkins University, where she was affiliated with the Center for Language and Speech Processing. She has authored papers on developing reliable evaluation methodologies, educational applications of NLP (such as text simplification, automatic writing evaluation, and grammatical error correction), and discourse in social media. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Princeton University with a Certificate in Linguistics and before graduate school, she edited non-fiction books for a trade publisher.
