CJ is a UX researcher, designer, and strategist based in Portland, Oregon. They currently work at Zoho, and have previously worked for Zapproved and Empirical UX. CJ is happily nerdy about user experience and service design in general, but gets particularly passionate about using UX tools to support folks with genderqueer and intersectional identities.
Prior to working in tech CJ was an urban planning researcher. They worked on behavioral studies for active transportation planning projects, and wrote a thesis on skateboarding for transportation.
In their free time CJ rows crew, sews quilts, and naps under cats.
