Celia Carter currently leads the Healthcare Technologies Office at Genentech. In her role, she provides strategic direction to the organization by developing and executing the procurement strategy for emerging healthcare technologies across Molecular Information, Digital & Connected Health and Real-World Evidence technology domains.
Prior to Genentech, Celia was the Director of Operations at United BioSource Corporation’s (UBC) clinical technology business unit, now Bracket. Bracket partners with life sciences organizations to design, develop and implement custom technology solutions to support their clinical trials and product commercialization. As the Director of Operations Celia drove 30% year-to-year revenue growth successfully preparing the business unit operationally and financially for acquisition by Medco Health Solutions (now Express Scripts).
Celia holds a B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Celia resides in Oakland, CA with her partner Sierra and their two sons Macairo, 9, and Malik, 2.
