Caz is a Senior Product Manager at the BBC where she obsesses over a portfolio of over 50 beautiful enterprise websites. Her development team are both engineers and designers, crafting every part of the experience, from sleek interfaces to reusable code components. Bringing together modern design principles and software architecture, they build apps that improve the working lives of staff within the BBC.
Before running her current team, she was Product Designer for mobile apps at the BBC where she helped roll out the enterprise mobile platform to over 12,000 users. Previous to that, Caz was a management consultant at Ernst & Young, and later became Operations Director at food start-up The Recipe Kit. She’s been a freelance graphic designer and design consultant since 2013.
Caz currently sits on the steering committee for BBC Women in STEM, and recently delivered a week of events supporting and celebrating women in STEM roles across the BBC. She is also on the board for BBC Pride and the steering committee for IntermediaUK, an organisation supporting LGBT+ individuals across the media sector.
