Breana Knight, educator, technologist, engineer, musician and athlete. Breana, entered the blockchain community through Colorado based start-up Maiden Global as their Director of Outreach for ETHDenver. Prior to attending the Lesbians Who Tech San Francisco Summit, Breana was on the leadership team in charge of creating the biggest and most diverse blockchain hackathon to date. In addition to ensuring that the majority of hackathon attendants were of a diverse background, Breana increased female participants to historic levels. While most Blockchain events struggle to include 3-5% women, the ETHDenver Hackathon included 21% female hackers! As an avid supporter of diversity and the arts in the blockchain space Breana, provides crypto consulting, education and support to local artists, diverse individuals and bands such as Denver based music act the Flobots, who reached world acclamation for their piece “Handlebars”.
