Beth Budwig is a Sr Manager of UX at Workday, and has been a User Experience professional since 1999. She’s been using techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy both personally and at work since 2009. Her whole level of professionalism and work life blossomed with the use of DBT techniques, opening the way to become a manager of people, something she’d never previously thought possible. She wants to share these coping mechanisms and techniques with as many people as possible, especially with women, who tend to fall prey to imposter syndrome and other forms of negative self-talk (although people of all genders can find these techniques helpful).
Diverse representation is a priority for us. We're proud to say that our Summit speakers are 80% queer women, 50% women of color, 25% Black & Latinx, and 15% transgender and gender nonconforming.
