Brittany “B” Dukes is a passionate multidisciplinary artist, audio/visual technician, director, author and independent researcher currently supporting Pinterest as an Event Ops Technician via Milestone Technologies. A newcomer to the Bay-Area “tech” arena, the South Carolina native has spent the last 5 years weaving between building stages and productions, as a stagehand/tech and climber in the music festival, corporate and rock-n-roll spaces, while also touring as a photographer, cinematographer and director both nationally and globally. In their role supporting Pinterest, B researches the latest webinar and event platforms, provides audio/visual technical support for internal and external facing events and serves as a video editor for internal content. Currently they are invested in investigating the future of live production/events within the digital space, how to bridge the gap between the needs of the community with the companies who have access, exploring black and LGBTQI+ representation within the live production industry and how to use their various art forms as tools for healing and community activism. Dukes is an Audio Engineering graduate from Full Sail University.
