Allyn Shaw is the Global Information Security (GIS) chief operating officer, responsible for business operations, finance and resource management, performance management and metrics. Allyn’s team is also responsible for development and implementation of an integrated GIS workforce strategy that delivers on future-state resource, location and training goals.

Prior to joining GIS, Allyn was the Chief Technology Organization Workspace Services chief operating officer, responsible for aligning technology initiatives of the workforce, marketing, financial and risk controls. His team enabled the delivery of end-to-end technology and operations supporting desktop platforms, mobility services, communication and collaboration technologies for the company.

Before joining Workspace Services, Allyn was a Global Relationship and Product Management executive for Bank of America, responsible for delivering business reliant products and managing relationships within the business groups defining the standards leveraged to implement core technology needs.

Prior to joining Bank of America in 2004, Allyn was senior vice president of Enterprise Voice Network Services at Countrywide where he managed a team responsible for real-time communications including mobility, interactive response, voice, web and video conferencing, contact center, unified communications, trader voice and carrier transport services.

Allyn is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion. He is the chair of the Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) LGBT Council, serves on the bank’s LGBT Executive Council and is the Forum executive for GT&O Supplier Diversity. Allyn is also affiliated with the Black Executive Leadership Council.

Allyn’s formal educational background includes Cornell University and Southern Methodist University. He is based in Charlotte, NC.
