Aleksandra Filipovich (also known by her artist name Al Frankie) is a poet, mental health advocate, and technical project manager. She has published a collection of poems titled Heartbreak P.S.A. and is working on her sophomore poetry book titled “Three Good Poems”. In 2020 she has started a Mental Health ERG at her company called Peer Soul Support Team (or PSST) and has been dedicating her time to her mission of educating and dismantling stigma around neurodiversity and mental wellness. She has previously managed operations and projects at General Motors, Google, and now at Invitae, a genetic testing company. Her work is dedicated to the intersection of art, literature, and technology and she hopes to remind us that we do not have to sacrifice our artistic side if we choose to make a difference in the world of technology.
