Partner Events Kick-off Form

We’re so excited to partner with your team on an upcoming event! These events are designed for Lesbians Who Tech & Allies to do the heavy lifting and take care of all of the little details. Please read the following details and complete the form below to get started!

ALL THE DETAILS

Types of Partner Events

Our sponsors are able to choose from one of the following event types for our event. These events are held on a weeknight for 2-3 hours, depending on the city.

  1. Networking Event or Happy Hour :: Capacity ranges from 50 – 300 people. Held at our partners’ offices or bar. The focus of this event is on building deeper relationships with local, badass techies and engaging your employees. May have content, depending on sponsorship package.
  2. Mid-Senior Level Intimate Dinner :: Capacity ranges from 15 – 75 people. Held at our partners’ offices or a restaurant. The focus of this event is on relationship building with mid-senior level techies and business leaders.
  3. Executive Level Intimate Dinner :: Capacity ranges from 15 – 25 people. Held at our partners’ offices or a restaurant. The focus of this event is on relationship building with Executives.

Invites

Our team is responsible for handling external invites for the event, while our partners are responsible for inviting internal folks to attend. We aim for 5x the RSVPs than the event capacity. All events will use our registration process.

  1. Networking Event or Happy Hour :: These events are not typically curated based on skill set or experience.
  2. Mid-Senior Level Intimate Dinner :: Our sponsors can choose from the following type of attendees for our team to invite to the dinner :: technical or local leaders.
  3. Executive Level Intimate Dinner :: Our sponsors can choose from the following type of attendees for our team to invite to the dinner :: technical or local leaders.

Food & Beverage Expectations

Our partners are responsible for all additional event costs including food, beverage and venue costs.

  1. Networking Event or Happy Hour :: Based on past events of this type, expectations around f/b are alcoholic beverages will be provided (beer, wine, and liquor), with non-alcoholic beverage options and light appetizers.
  2. Mid-Senior Level Intimate Dinner :: Based on past events of this type, expectations around f/b are a sit-down dinner, or buffet, alcoholic beverages will be provided (beer, wine, and liquor), with non-alcoholic beverage options.
  3. Executive Level Intimate Dinner :: Based on past events of this type, expectations around f/b are a sit-down dinner at a restaurant, alcoholic beverages will be included (beer, wine, and liquor), with non-alcoholic beverage options.

Venues

If the event is hosted outside of the partners’ office, we will collaborate with partners to secure a venue. Partners are responsible for venue fee.

  1. Networking Event or Happy Hour :: Venue can be our partners’ offices or a local bar or restaurant.
  2. Mid-Senior Level Intimate Dinner :: Venue can be our partners’ offices or local bar or restaurant.
  3. Executive Level Intimate Dinner ::Venue can be our partners’ offices or restaurant.

Programming at the Event

All events will start with the playing of our organization video :: bit.ly/ORGVIDEO. The goal of all events is relationship building and networking. Any programming should be limited to less than 10 minutes.

  1. Networking Event or Happy Hour :: Our partners can give a brief welcome address (up to 5 minutes) to compliment the video.
  2. Mid-Senior Level Intimate Dinner :: We recommend an executive from your team attending to give a 5-10 minute welcome address to compliment the video. We’ll also promote the executive(s) attending in our invites to secure attendees.
  3. Executive Level Intimate Dinner :: We recommend at least 2 executives from your team attending to give a 5-10 minute welcome address to compliment the video. We’ll also promote the executive(s) attending in our invites to secure attendees.

Photographer

Included in partnership package :: Our team will provide a photographer for all event types. We will share photos with our partners after the event.

Date

We will work with you to select a date, time and location (city) of the event. Please note: The date, time and city must be approved by the Lesbians Who Tech & Allies team.

Attendee Data

Our team will share data 24 hours before*:: Our team will share the following information about all attendees of our event with our sponsors 24 hours before :: first name, last name, email address, skills, Linkedin profile, years of experience, job title, and company. *Data dependent upon sponsorship package.  

On-site Support

We’re here to support you :: A member of the Lesbians Who Tech & Allies team will be on site to provide day-of support. Partners will need to provide check-in staff.  Depending on the venue and event, partners may need to provide additional volunteers.

Branded Materials/Creative Direction

Let’s get creative :: We love when our sponsors get creative on ways to build an amazing event. We do ask that any co-branded materials be approved by our team and that the use of rainbows be reserved for events held around Pride.
