San Francisco Lesbians Who Tech community invited to growth hackathon for Immigration Reform

Silicon Valley wouldn’t be the same without our non-American founders and friends yet while the number of immigrants in the US has steadily grown, our immigration laws are still stuck in the past.

FWD.us (founded by Mark Zuckerberg) and Hackers/Founders (a grassroots tech organization) are combining forces for a DebugDC growthathon to encourage immigration reform and change policy. This event will apply growth hacking techniques for distribution, user acquisition, and engagement and translate them into meaningful political action. Those taking part in the hackathon will develop innovative, tech-based ways to identify and engage constituents in key battleground districts to tell their Congressional representative they want immigration reform done now

If you are a data scientist, growth hacker, marketer or designer (user interface) interested in participating you can use your design, technical, and marketing skills to help create change during the DeBug DC event on from June 21-22 in San Francisco.
