White House LGBTQ Tech & Innovation Summit

Laura is the Lead Software Engineer at Metis, a Data Science training company. She spends her time building products, ux’ing obsessively, and trying to make people’s lives better with tech. She is very passionate about diversity and inclusion; she founded and co-directed the Women Who Code chapter of Boston for 2+ years, and has recently co-founded, the first Queer in Data Science group in NYC. Laura greatly enjoys science fiction and hopes to one day reach the Singularity and finally accomplish her dream of becoming a cyborg. She would also be happy just getting a one way ticket to Whileaway.
