I started my university career doing research, and since then the field has really interested me. I attended a research workshop at the University of California, Berkeley, and it solidified my interest in not only research but in my subject field of Industrial Engineering.During my sophomore and Junior years of college, I was able to understand my passion for bettering the lives of others through being a Resident Assistant to college students during their first year. I then completed a full year as a Professional Internship as a Metrics Analyst with the Walt Disney Company. I completed a Student Co-Op with Orlando Utilities Commission working on the migration of the Customer Care and Billing System. Upon graduation from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, I began my current role as a Professional Intern with the Walt Disney Company, working in Magic Kingdom for Engineering Services.

In 2016, I had the opportunity to volunteer for and attend the Lesbians Who Tech Summit. I am also an active member of the National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals.
