Edgar Landas is a Technology Solutions Manager at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Technology and Innovation with over ten years of finding solutions at the intersection of government and technology. In his role, Edgar advises New York City agencies on managing technological change and utilizing innovative methods and approaches on a variety of tech projects.
Edgar built his successful public sector IT consulting career before joining the City of New York where he successfully implemented procurement-related initiatives for the Mayor’s Office, the Comptroller, and other key agencies. Leveraging his unique combination of tech savvy and knowledge of City infrastructure, Edgar provided effective solutions for all stakeholders.
Edgar hails from Arlington, Virginia, is a graduate of the College of William & Mary in Virginia and is completing his Masters Degree at New York University’s Executive Management of Technology Masters program with a focus on strategy, innovation, and open data.
