As an Information Security Engineer I make sure Mapbox’s cloud infrastructure is secure, stable, and able to perform under high demand in any part of the world. I work on everything from running our bug bounty program on HackerOne, to locking down our AWS infrastructure, to making sure every team member has a password manager and knows how to use it. Outside of work I’m an active volunteer in the local DCTech community. I was a Front End Lab Night lead for Women Who Code DC for a couple years and now I’m one of the directors. I also helped organize DCFemTech’s 2nd annual Hack for Good hackathon. Before I joined Mapbox, I used to build, configure, and secure large SharePoint-based intranets for the Department of Defense.
